Building Wrestlers. Developing Character.
Who We Are
Annapolis Wrestling Club (AWC) is a nonprofit youth wrestling organization serving elementary and middle school athletes in the Annapolis area. We provide opportunities for young wrestlers to learn, train, compete, and grow through the sport of wrestling.
Our Mission
Annapolis Wrestling Club exists to provide elementary and middle school youth athletes with opportunities to learn, participate in, and excel in amateur wrestling while promoting sportsmanship, discipline, leadership, physical fitness, and personal growth.
Access & Opportunity
AWC believes financial circumstances should not unnecessarily prevent a young athlete from participating in wrestling. The Club may provide need-based scholarships, registration assistance, and equipment assistance to eligible families.
What We Believe
Learn
Develop strong wrestling fundamentals and an understanding of the sport.
Compete
Provide opportunities for athletes to challenge themselves through local and travel competition.
Grow
Use wrestling to reinforce sportsmanship, discipline, leadership, physical fitness, and personal growth.
